Foto-Mosaik 4.1.0.0 is a program that creates mosaic-pictures from many small pictures.
You can use as tiles your own photos. The tiles will be selectes at random. After analysis, Foto-Mosaik puts them into one or multiple databases.
Foto-Mosaik 4.1.0 can be installed and run in German or English.
This program is postcard-ware, it means that it´s free, but the author wants the users to send him a postcard as a form of payment.
The program begins with a complete steb-by-step tutorial that guides you through the entire process of building mosaic-pictures.
First of all, you will need to add pictures that will serve as tiles to a database. You can add pictures from any source (your disk, a pen drive, a CD or DVD...). The desired pictures can even be extracted from a video file.
Then, Foto-Mosaik will scan the designed folders for pictures, and will catalog them.
Then you will need to chose the image that will be converted to a mosaic, and where to save the result. You´ll need to chose which tile database will you use, how many tiles will you use. and the format and size of the tiles. |
